The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles is nearly a hundred years old and was a forerunner to the business management industry of today as well as a primer in self-development.
I spent a lot of time searching the Internet for copies of this document after watching The Secret (http://thesecret.tv/index.html) by Rhonda Byrne.
I wanted a text only copy so that I could format it just how I wanted, as well as having it installed on my mobile phone so I could read it anywhere at anytime.
I also love books, of the paper kind, so I bought a copy from Amazon Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles AND The Master Key System by Charles Haanel this included the Charles Haanel classic Master Key System too.
I also found The Science of Getting Rich Network which has copies of the works of Wallace D. Wattles. The web-site is dedicated solely to the work of Mr Wattles and is well worth a visit.
I eventually found the text I was after from a mixture of places but I managed to put it all together and made this pdf document as a way of conveniently viewing it on my desktop computer and laptop, so I decided to share it via the World Wide Web with other interested people in the hope that it may be of use and is another version to be collected.
But is it Science?
A much maligned word these days. Even scientists don't seem to know what it means, so I don't know what mere mortals like me can make of it. When I was at school we did Physics, Chemistry and Biology, those were the sciences, with fairly clear experiments to show the foundations of the subjects and usually known results. If things went wrong we were encouraged to find out why and explain what happened, as opposed to accepting it has another result, so we learned.
There seems to be a view that anything not proven by Science is not true, whereas true Science recognise's that many things are true even though scientists have not taken the time to prove them. Down to money, so if they all studied Wallace D. Wattles work and became rich then they would work on what they wanted to as opposed to what brought the most money in. Science would then possibly be a little more believable.
This has led me further, into Internet Marketing
I have always regarded this area of the World Wide Web with some suspicion, as though it was a sea full of sharks.
More recently I have studied the area closely as the technology and capability of the Internet has developed. The security systems now available make Online Commerce much safer and it is a fast growing industry with opportunities for almost everyone.
I have an Amazon affiliate account which I mainly regard as giving me discount on books and videos I buy, but which occasionally surprised me when someone else bought a book from one of my links
I now subscribe to a number of Internet Marketers newsletters and if nothing else they make fun reading.
If half of the things they say are true then the possibilities are immense. One of my favourites is the Sara Brown's Newsletter which always comes across as the genuine article.
